About this app

Loktra connects your phone to a web-based anti-theft system. Capture evidence of unauthorised unlock attempts, save it to your own Google Drive, and use the Loktra web portal to protect a lost or stolen phone remotely.

PROTECT YOUR PHONE FROM ANY BROWSER

If your phone is lost or stolen, open the Loktra web portal from a computer, tablet or another phone and sign in with the same Google account.

From the portal, you can:

• Locate your phone
• Sound a loud alarm
• Lock the device
• Request a fresh evidence capture

Remote commands work only with devices registered to the same authenticated account. For remote erasure, Google Play installations direct you to Google Find My Device.

CATCH UNAUTHORISED ACCESS

After the number of failed PIN, pattern or password attempts you select is reached, Loktra can:

• Capture intruder photos
• Record optional video and audio evidence
• Attach the device’s location
• Save the event in an evidence timeline
• Upload evidence to your Google Drive and email you a private link

You control the failure threshold, camera, number of photos, video quality and duration, audio duration, alarm and warning message.

YOUR EVIDENCE, YOUR STORAGE

Loktra uploads captured media directly to your own Google Drive. Photos, videos and audio are never stored on Loktra developer servers.

Loktra uses the limited Google Drive drive.file permission, so it can access only files it creates.

RELIABLE PROTECTION

Arm Loktra once and it keeps protection ready while your phone is locked. Standard protection displays an ongoing “protection active” notification. Loktra can resume protection after supported restarts and app updates.

Premium users may optionally enable Stealth mode. It removes Loktra’s standard permanent protection notification and runs anti-theft actions temporarily when an event occurs. Loktra does not suppress Android-required notifications or
camera and microphone privacy indicators.

OPTIONAL ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE

Loktra optionally uses Android’s AccessibilityService API for anti-theft features on the system lock screen. If you explicitly enable it, Loktra can:

• Read failed fingerprint or face-unlock messages and capture evidence after your selected number of failures
• Re-lock the device if the power menu, notification shade or quick settings opens while protection is armed
• Support optional Stealth mode without Loktra’s permanent protection notification
• Run locate or evidence-capture actions you request from the Loktra web portal while the phone is locked

The Accessibility Service is disabled by default. Before enabling it, Loktra explains its use and asks for your consent. It examines lock-screen information temporarily on the device. This information is never logged, stored,
transmitted or shared. Loktra does not use the service to read content inside other apps, change settings without permission, prevent uninstallation, or perform autonomous actions.

• Protects only the phone on which it is installed
• Remote access requires the same authenticated account
• No advertising or selling personal data
• No developer storage of captured media
• No monitoring of another person’s device
• Clear explanations before sensitive permissions are requested

PERMISSIONS

Loktra may request camera and microphone access for evidence capture, location to tag an event or locate a lost phone, and Device Administrator access to detect failed PIN, pattern or password attempts and remotely lock the device.

SIM-change detection is optional and requires phone-state permission. Optional Accessibility Service access supports the lock-screen features described above.

Loktra turns an unauthorised unlock attempt into useful evidence and lets you respond through the web portal from wherever you are.
