Ampelo is the app for people with food intolerances. Scan a product's barcode and find out in seconds if it's suitable for you.

FOUR INTOLERANCES
Ampelo checks ingredient lists for gluten, lactose, fructose, and polyols (sorbitol, xylitol, maltitol, and other sugar alcohols). Select your intolerances, and Ampelo will analyze each product individually for you.

14 EU ALLERGENS
In addition, Ampelo detects all 14 EU allergens that must be declared on food labels: milk, eggs, fish, crustaceans, molluscs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, celery, mustard, sesame, lupin, gluten, and sulfites.

THE TRAFFIC TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM
Dark green: Tolerated. Declared as free (e.g., gluten-free).

Light green: Likely tolerated. No problematic ingredients found.

Orange: Traces or potentially relevant ingredients detected. Check the packaging.

Red: Not suitable. Contains ingredients that may cause problems if you have an intolerance.

OVER 200,000 PRODUCTS
Ampelo knows over 200,000 products from the German market. The database is regularly updated. If Ampelo doesn't recognize a product, we check the Open Food Facts community database for you.

TRACES OF INGREDIENTS
Traces of INGREDIENTS such as "May contain traces of milk" are evaluated separately and displayed as a cautionary warning.

DATA PROTECTION
Ampelo does not store any personal data. No registration, no tracking, no advertising. Your intolerances remain on your device.
