Two Houses is the app for separated parents. It keeps track, for both parents, of the three things that cause the most friction after a separation: the custody schedule, shared expenses, and information about the children.
WHAT IT DOES
- The custody schedule
Choose your schedule—one week on, one week off, 2-2-3, alternating weekends—and the app will automatically generate the plan. A request to swap custody is made, accepted, or declined with two taps, and is recorded in black and white.
- Shared expenses
Each expense is recorded with its amount, its allocation key, and a receipt. The balance is calculated continuously: you always know who owes what, and why. A suggested contribution scale for child support is included.
- Information about the children
School, cafeteria, activities, sizes, shoe sizes, useful notes. What one parent updates, the other sees—no more messages asking for shoe size before buying shoes.
- A sealed log
Every change is logged, time-stamped, and sealed. No one can rewrite the past, neither party.
- Message tone
A filter suggests rewording before sending a tense message, and a cooling-off period can hold back the most heated messages for fifteen minutes. Each person chooses what they agree to receive, without the other party being able to change it.
WHAT WE DON'T SEE
Your data is encrypted on your device before being sent. The service that transports it from one phone to another cannot read it: not the names, not the amounts, not the messages, not the documents. The key that unlocks it never leaves your devices.
This isn't a sales pitch; it's a technical requirement: even under a court order, we couldn't produce the contents of your account.
NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
The application works without registration. An account is offered, optional, for one purpose only: to access your space from a new device. We only keep a digital copy of your address and your key packaged under your password—never the address itself, never the password, never the key. You can delete this account from the app at any time.
No ads. No trackers. Your data is not sold, rented, or used for advertising purposes.
WHO IS IT FOR?
For parents who share custody and want a single, up-to-date source of information for both of them, rather than a message thread where everything gets lost. The app also works independently if the other parent doesn't install it: you keep your calendar and expenses, and you can link it later.
The custody schedule and shared expenses, up to date on both sides.
