🔢 Hitori is a Japanese-style logic puzzle: shade cells until no number repeats in any row or column. Pure deduction, no arithmetic, no luck.

Every puzzle in this game has exactly ONE solution, and every one of them can be reached by reasoning. You never have to guess.

📏 THE THREE RULES
1. No repeats: a number may not appear twice unshaded in the same row or column.
2. No touching: two shaded cells never share a side. Diagonals are fine.
3. One white area: every unshaded cell must connect to all the others.

💡 HINTS THAT TEACH, NOT HINTS THAT SOLVE
Stuck? The hint does not fill a cell in for you: it tells you which rule applies right here, in plain words, and points at the cell it is talking about. You still make the move, so next time you spot it yourself. And if the board has no forced step left, it says so and costs you nothing.

📐 FIVE SIZES, FOUR LEVELS
From a 5×5 you finish on the bus to a 15×15 that takes an evening. Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert, and the level is measured from the techniques each board really needs, not guessed.

🎓 LEARN BY PLAYING
Your first board walks you through it move by move, with the same explanations the hint gives you later on. No wall of text before you get to play.

📅 DAILY CHALLENGE
A new puzzle every day, the same one for everybody. Keep your streak going and earn extra stars.

⭐ STARS AND THEMES
Solve with little help and earn up to three stars per board. Spend them on board palettes and number styles.

↩️ MADE FOR THE THUMB
Tap to shade, tap again to mark a cell white, tap once more to clear. Unlimited undo, a check that counts your mistakes without pointing at them, and pinch to zoom on the big boards.
