To provide its core functionality, See For Me requires the activation of the AccessibilityService API.
- How it is used: This app uses the Accessibility Service to detect when you trigger the accessibility shortcut and to analyze the visual layout of your current screen. This allows our AI to accurately identify and read aloud unlabeled buttons, text, and images for users with visual impairments.
- Data Privacy & Security: We take user privacy very seriously. The AccessibilityService API is used strictly to capture a temporary image of the screen for real-time auditory description and to provide immediate, interactive follow-up chat support regarding that specific screen. This image is held temporarily in a short-term local session cache solely to facilitate your active conversation with the AI assistant. The data is automatically and permanently deleted immediately once the user closes the chat or the short interaction session ends. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data or screen content on permanent external servers.
- User Control: This service is entirely optional and can be enabled or disabled by the user at any time through the device’s Android Accessibility settings.
