Two editors in one app. The classic notepad you already know how to use, and a modern one for when the file you have opened turns out to be code.

📝 THE CLASSIC EDITOR

It opens straight into an empty page, the way the desktop notepad always did. File, Edit, Format — the menus are where you expect them, and so is everything under them.

• Open and edit any plain text file, whatever its extension
• Find and replace, with match case and a running count of matches

• Save As, including changing a file's extension to whatever you need

💡 WHAT PEOPLE USE IT FOR

It is small, it is quick, and it does not get in your way.

Ratings and reviews

Major bug reported but unfixed for months: Typed text disappears under keyboard if you type long enough on Android. Side installing older version removes this bug. Operationally: FIND option is missing. Please do what it takes to fix this bug, and please introduce FIND option. Other similar apps have it, you can and should too.

The app is light and work fine on its features, at the moment I write this. using windows visuals is a pro move (even more using this app on windowed/split screen) for who use windows notepad instead native and unnecessary optimized notes apps, this do what I need, simply flawless, will keep using it.

I've only been able to successfully save one file with his app. I cannot open and resave only that file. I can create new files, but the app never saves them, and never gives any indication that save was unsuccessful. uninstalling.
