About this game

Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. As the story unfolds, Gris will grow emotionally and see her world in a different way, revealing new paths to explore using her new abilities.

GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.

GRIS is an experience with almost no text, only simple control reminders illustrated through universal icons. The game can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their spoken language.

Beautiful game, no complains there! Although there were technical bugs, and the controls felt too sensitive and floaty that it was quite frustrating at times with the puzzles. Additionally, level design was confusing at times as many areas looked the same, so a lot of time was wasted on wandering around--not sure if I'm going the right way to progress. Overall, good game, but due to the issues mentioned, it was demotivating to continue the game at times.

I've been wanting to try this game and was excited to see it on Play Pass. Wonderful game, but when I tried it on my phone, the touch screen controls were frustrating. It was hard to make precise jumps, and the positioning was awkward. I connected my Xbox controller to my tablet. It made the gameplay so much easier, and my thumbs weren't covering up a portion of the beautiful landscape. I would strongly recommend either getting this game for pc or having a controller handy.

Beauty, pain, sorrow, a masterpiece of music combined with scenery that perfectly contrasts the two. A must play with an external controller, so the full screen and the story it tells without words can be fully heard. I was left speechless in the end. There are no issues with the game what so ever. [S24_Ultra+Xbox Controller (Bluetooth)]. If you're looking for a game that can touch your heart with no mindless violence, begin here.
