Ratings and reviews

The app is overly complicated and cluttered. It packs in far too many options and features that seem added mainly to tick items off a checklist, rather than making core tasks like checking usage or paying water and electricity bills simple and intuitive. This creates unnecessary friction. Streamlining the interface around essential functions would be a big improvement.

Terrible service. I paid the deposit and service charges, but received zero confirmation, no payment receipt, no welcome email, and no registration form — nothing at all. Meanwhile, the building management requires these exact registration papers to move in. ​To make matters worse, the app constantly glitches and fails to connect when trying to log in via UAE Pass. You have to struggle with it a hundred times just to access your DEWA account.

Due to security reasons, DEWA smart app does not support devices that are jailbroken/rooted or with mock GPS locations. cant use the app even after clearing storage, turning off developer mode,( im a developer) . non rooted phone
