The new Dexcom Follow App is part of the Dexcom SHARE® system.
Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app.
Dexcom Follow works seamlessly with your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, giving you visibility into their glucose data, even when they’re far away. Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow their glucose levels, trends and data right from the app. Whether your child is in school, your parent lives independently, or your partner is traveling, Dexcom Follow helps you stay connected and informed.
With Dexcom Follow, you can:
• Receive glucose information of up to 25 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones – if you know multiple people with diabetes
• Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside of target range

*Do not use Dexcom Follow for treatment decisions, such as insulin dosing. The Sharer should follow instructions on the CGM system.

Ratings and reviews

Lags behind what's actually happening with notifications and currently told me 12 times in the last hour the app has stopped working but when I open it up I can see the numbers. Going to uninstall and reinstall to see if that helps. Extremely frustrating. Update: Uninstalled and reinstalled was better for a couple days but now getting multiple notifications per day again that it's not working. Tried going to the website they suggested for them to follow up... didn't load. Seems about right.

I'm so over trying to get this app to connect. At least half of the time or more this app has a connection issue of some type. Either it won't connect at all or the data is out of date. I usually have to refer to the source phone. Please no. Would your team please try to use the app for themselves and rub some cells together to have a "Oh, we should fix that" moment

App doesn't offer much. I with you could look further back. also only World within so many feet of the person so what's the point. They can just check it or you can ask them. I wish I could help watch from further away or know when it's dropping so he doesn't pass out cause he usually isn't watching. These sensors also fail quite often. And they do sent you a voucher to get a free one or send a free one on the mail but it takes a week and the voucher uses one of your refills at the pharmacy
