About this app

The app for your everyday life with Duchenne

One4 is an app by and for people with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and their families. It supports you in keeping track of your health in your daily life and offers you the opportunity to engage with the community.

One4 was co-developed with patients with neuromuscular diseases and medical experts. The close collaboration between patients, families, and medical experts is unique and will continue. Your experiences are invaluable. Get actively involved in its further development and help shape the future of Duchenne care!

How does the app support you?

Exchange ideas with others
Share your experiences with others, whether on the wall or in a private chat. Ask questions or make new connections – with people who experience similar challenges. Maybe there's even someone nearby!

Track symptoms & health
Regularly record your symptoms and health data with trackers that are truly relevant to you. Over time, you'll notice changes or new connections.

Keep track of your medications
Whether you take them regularly or only when needed – enter your medications in the app and keep track of everything. The reminder function helps you not forget anything.

Use the app together
You can create up to five profiles. For example, one for the patient, one for mom, and one for dad. This way, everyone can use the community area individually.

Starting in fall: Connection to clinics
Soon, you'll be able to easily contact your clinic, receive documents, or receive important information via the app. You can also plan and organize appointments according to your treatment plan directly in the app, and view all the details.

You can also share your data, such as the progression of relevant symptoms, directly with your clinic. You can conveniently access questionnaires via the app and complete them before your appointment.

Your data belongs to you. Period.

Self-determined & sovereign: When using One4, you may enter personal information about yourself and your health. You retain control over what happens to your data at all times.

Security & privacy: Your data is cryptographically secured, meaning it is end-to-end encrypted, and only your personal security key allows access. No one can read your data, not even Digital Health Companion GmbH as the operator. This makes One4 more secure than online banking or other health apps. In the future, you can still share data with your treatment team or others by sharing your key – but you remain 100% in control at all times!

One4 is a collaborative project between patients, relatives, healthcare providers, the FAIR-DMD Registry of the Society for Neuropediatrics (GNP), ITF Pharma GmbH, Roche Pharma AG, and Digital Health Companion GmbH. Further partners are being planned.
