About this app

Dhakhr is an app where you build and maintain your family tree, updated by the family members themselves. When you open it, you find yourself at the center of the tree: your father above you, your children below, and you can trace each name back to its relatives. Each family has its own private scope and isolated data, unseen by anyone outside the family.

The Tree
Moves between parents, children, and spouses, opening any branch to make it a root, and adding missing members with a single tap. Each individual has their own page: their age, status, children, photos, and the meaning of their name from the "Siwar" dictionary. What one of you adds appears to the others instantly.

Relationship
"Your cousin," "Your great-uncle's grandchild," "Your son-in-law," "Your daughter-in-law"—Dhakhr calculates these from the tree itself for every name you see, both in the search and on each individual's page, tracing the path between you and them generation after generation. No one else writes or updates it.

Build the Tree in One Evening
Do you have a drawn tree, a picture of one, or a chart? "Family Import" provides instructions, which you then paste into your profile in any AI assistant. The app generates a file that you upload, and it's displayed in its entirety before any information is saved. Any missing information is then filled in through conversation: the app asks, "Who are the children of so-and-so?" generation after generation.

Family News and Events: A new baby, a new member joining, or a loss—news that reaches everyone without anyone having to write it down. It also includes a monthly calendar of family events. When you organize an event, you can invite the entire family, a branch of it, or specific names, and see who has confirmed their attendance before you even start preparing.

Family Fund: Annual subscriptions, targeted and time-bound campaigns, and a "help fund" for those in need. Every contribution is documented with its reference code, reviewed and approved by the treasurer, and members can track the campaign's progress.

Games from Your Family Tree: "What's the relationship?", "Who's in the picture?", and "Complete the lineage"—short questions built from your own family, starting with your immediate family and progressing step by step. Each member has their place in the "Genealogy Order." Family members recognize their relatives while playing.

Ages and Times
Don't know when your grandfather was born? The app provides an estimate based on the birth dates of his children and the order of his siblings, explaining how it was determined. The timeline places your chosen family members on a single axis, showing you who was alive in which year. In the "Prophet's Biography Genealogy" tree, accessible to everyone on the app, you can read the biography year by year.

Invite Your Family by Name
Open your brother's page in the family tree and click "Invite." A link with his name will appear; you don't need his phone number. Those who receive the link will see who invited them, verify their number, and instantly find their place in the family tree. The family administrator is notified of each new addition and has the authority to disable it.

For Your Family Only
Your family's data is not read from another family's account, nor is any of it uploaded to a device that doesn't have access to it. Login is done using your mobile number and a password of your choice, or with your fingerprint.

The core features of Dhukhr are free and unlimited in terms of the number of members: family tree, search, kinship, news, and games. Family events, import, family fund, and the informational website are packages for family funds, free for a limited time.
