Use your Android device as a dictation machine and send work directly to DICT8 for UK based Medical transcription from it.

DICT8 mobile is a fully featured dictation app, which allows you to produce your medical dictations on the move and upload them securely to the DICT8 servers so that they can be incorporated into your workflow and sent to our UK-based medical transcribers.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to use this app you will already need to have an account with DICT8 and your login details. DICT8 accounts are currently only available within Britain.

Ratings and reviews

After the last update dictations dont upload. Every time I get a message that the upload is paused and when I click to resume it says that I have been logged out. I login etc and the same thing happens again and again... Edit: excellent support, the app was updated on the same day and the problem was fixed. Quick reply by the developing team and telephone contact. No complaints! Rating upgraded from 2 to 5 stars.

I have to use this app for work and it is frankly a NIGHTMARE to upload. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Same networks. Typically it takes me 20+ attempts over multiple days to get a file to upload and finally it will succeed for no apparent reason. On a network i've already tried multiple times and is clearly working for every other app I use. It also accepts incorrect login details and carries on appearing to try to upload for ages (days sometimes) before showing a login error.

Works well. Easy to upload files. I upload each file after dictating. User friendly interface.
