Excellent. The app is great. Bought it with the smart scale and the Scio scanner. Works great with the Ultimate subscription plan. Excellent customer support. I don't understand the negative reviews posted here.
4 months ago, I had my baby and I was looking for a solution to get rid of my extra pounds, which was clearly a difficult task after i gained 30 pounds during my pregnancy. What I love about the DietSensor app is the fact that it is the first nitritional tracking tool which considers not just calories intake per day, but the nutrients at each meal (i.e. - protein, carbs and fat per meal with a goal for each). I lost weight without stress and without resctriction. My fitness activities are also taken into account by the app which is a really big plus. I highly recommend this app because it is really easy to use and ver effective. This app brings a different approach where you don't have to restrict yourself to already established diet plans. You can create your own diet plan with DietSensor's meal suggestions.
Very good app
Thus app has an awful interface. It is extremely difficult to use, with no navigation aids. Upgrades are available, but there is no evidence that they are any better. The highest level seems to require add-on equipment, but there is no information on how to acquire it, or on cost. I can go no further with it, before even getting started.
I am a fitness fanatic and I also need to lose weight. The tracking and logging tools are second to none. Data is added instantly on the fly and I easily can port my fit bit data into Diet sensor so I optimize my complete fitness and nutrition regimen. The fact that this is science bAsed sets it apart. Highly recommend it.
I prefer MyFitnessPal, it seems much more user friendly & focused on true nutrition, rather than being visually pleasing. While this specifically helps set limits based on goal/disease, it never asked for my age, gender, weight, etc. which is important in setting someone's entire diet goals. This also works in kcal which is kilocalories (used outside US probably?) & is measured differently than a calorie (used mostly in US I believe). As a regular non- dietitian person, the kcal went over my head & caused a bit of a learning curve. Also, in MyFitnessPal you can search for products by brand name, which is much easier. This is I suppose is a bias since I've used MyFitnessPal for at least 6 months, but try for yourself, i am unsure if this app was intended to be used in the US, but kcal is an unfamiliar unit, along with the lack of individual bodily needs, like gender and age.
We made some ergonomic improvements and fixed some bugs
