This continues to be an excellent calculator, one of the best if not the best, and I highly recommend it. I suggest getting the paid version right away and avoid the ads. You won't regret it. - (My previous/original post: "Great calculator! I used the free version for some time, which had low profile ads. I finally got around to getting the ad-free version. This calculator is well worth the reasonable, modest cost and I highly recommend it.")

I use it most days. As good as a dedicated pocket calculator. Edit August 2019: Still a great calculator! But the icon on Samsung Note 8 changed from a pleasant rounded corner square to a circle that cuts off some of the image. There's no need for the developer to switch to the round icons that the standard Samsung UI wants if a user chooses to apply an optional icon design package. The phone will make them all round to fit the same peg quick enough without the developer changing it also.

I've used the stock calculator on my HTC One M9 smartphone only once....unfortunately, it leaves much to be desired. So I downloaded the Calculator Plus app and I have continued to use most of its features/functions on a daily basis. It is the only calculator app I'll ever need. In all sincerity, the Calculator Plus app is absolutely the very best in its class—there's no if's, and's, or but's about it. Believe me, all you "figure heads," you can trust me on this one!
