What is the eNPAD app?
The eNPAD application was developed by the LHF Espoir association and aims to support and
guide caregivers in the parenteral nutrition care they provide at home
to their children.
This application complements but in no way replaces the initial training received by
the reference pediatric hospital for parenteral nutrition.
The eNPAD application aims to provide the necessary tools to carry out healthcare.
Home Parenteral Nutrition (NPAD) effectively and with as much autonomy as possible.
It is only accessible to patients followed by a pediatric reference center at the
parenteral nutrition. The application provides secure access through your
referral hospital. It then allows you to access different features:
• The Training section which recalls the essential elements of Initial Training:
hand washing, plugging, unplugging, dressing, using the pump
infusion...
• The Emergency section which provides access to the emergency procedures to follow in the event of
emergency related to the pump, catheter or in case of fever.
• The Travel section which provides several useful features in the event of
travel or vacation
• The Pocket Management section which allows efficient and rapid management of pockets
parenteral nutrition.
• The Contact section which allows you to add and manage all useful contacts for
parenteral nutrition management at home.
About Us
LHF Espoir is a patient association created in 2019, which aims to support patients
suffering from the rare disease Familial Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (FHL), as well as
than funding research into this disease. LHF affects the immune system and
in rare cases the digestive system (patients with the Munc 18- mutation
2), leading to dependence on parenteral nutrition.
