Ratings and reviews

I wish the UI was simplified into basic and advanced actions. Many simple elements are buried in various menus. So, unless you use it all the time, it takes a while to find what you need. It's definitely not very friendly toward new users. Having said that. overall, Discord allows for great communication channels and groups, it's very stable, and does what it set out to do.

With every update something else breaks. Some of the times in discord the images sent in messages will be half cut off and display only a quarter of the image when clicked to view. Audio from videos or songs recently played will randomly play while viewing different servers out of the blue, or when going to a different app or the home page. The only way to stop the audio is to close discord completely. Notifications show up from muted channels. Obnoxious reminders to buy or "gift" Nitro.

I love discord, really, I do, but the UI used to be so much better. Maybe it's just my phone with this issue, but sending voice messages can be spotty, and I hate that. Discord will turn on my microphone, but my voice won't get recorded. It's truly annoying, especially when it gives me the glimmer of hope that it'll work again.
