Ratings and reviews

The Android app used to work great until they started making a bunch of changes. Now when I tap a notification it almost never brings me to the actual content from the notification. This drives me insane. The new UI is harder to navigate, is less intuitive, and causes more headache than it's worth. I've had the app crash when doing random searches, and completely restarts and goes into a different server/channel just when switching between the discord app and other apps. Do better.

The newest update did an extreme amount of damage to my experience. I cannot see private messages without closing the app, it will flash back and forth between emojis and text if I try to use an emoji and then go to an image, and the app functions much more slowly overall. This is a bad change that nobody asked for. Edit: The app now has *more* changes that tank its performance that nobody asked for such as reminding me who I am while blocking menu buttons.

Don't get me wrong, this is my main communication app for almost everything, and it does a fairly good job. The problem is, the UI is constantly falling behind what it's expected to do, and having any large amounts of photos or GIFs in one place at once makes the phone lag. This isn't an issue on iPhones, 14 Pro Max specifically, but it is on other flagship androids? Really disappointed. Edit: Even after the recommendation for help and reinstalling the app, the problem is still perstent.
