I like prompt journaling but I hated the prompts. They were too vague and open-ended, and 6 minutes isn't long enough to write more than a few lines. I don't recommend them to anyone with mental health issues as I frequently found myself writing things like "what I discovered is that I hate myself" (which isn't even true!) Additionally, I found the whispery ASMR-ish voice telling me to put down my pen grating. Then it was almost impossible to delete! Yikes. Not for me.

This app has gone through a lot of changes in the last year and I really enjoy using it. At first, I used this app to get into a journaling habit, but I found the breathing exercises to be very helpful so I started using those as well. It helps me unwind and relax before I go to bed, and it has made my end of day routine better.

Got this app after I booked my first appointment with these guys this morning. I really like all the information available, the way it's worded(it's almost like how I talk), the layout, and especially the guided journaling. I'm really bad at journaling because I get too much into my own head(thanks adhd) and all my thoughts get cluttered. But the promts really help me slow down and think! Needless to say I'm looking forward to my first appointment!
