About this app

SofaDeck turns your Android phone into a button deck and voice remote for your Windows PC or Mac. Launch apps and games, control music and volume, mute your microphone in every app, run whole routines with one tap, and drive the mouse and keyboard from the couch. It works on your home Wi-Fi: no account, no cloud, no ads.

SofaDeck has two parts: the free SofaDeck app on your computer (download it at sofadeck.com) and this companion app. Pair them once by scanning the QR code on the PC and typing its 6-digit PIN.

YOUR BUTTONS, NATIVE AND FAST
• The pages and buttons you set up on the PC appear here as big, colourful tiles with real haptic feedback
• Swipe between pages, switch profiles, and see live tiles: CPU, RAM, GPU, disk, network and battery
• Media strip: previous, play/pause, next, volume and mute, plus what's playing on the PC
• The phone's volume buttons can change the PC's volume while the deck is open

VOICE COMMANDS
• Tap the mic and say "volume 30", "next song", "mute my mic", "run movie night", "sleep in 30 minutes" or the name of any button
• Uses your phone's speech recognition (offline when available); only the words go to your PC

TRACKPAD AND KEYBOARD
• Move, click, double-click, right-click and two-finger scroll
• Type straight into the PC, with Esc, Tab, Enter, arrows, Page Up/Down and more

HOME SCREEN AND QUICK SETTINGS
• Widget with up to 4 favourite buttons, plus a voice shortcut: long-press a button to add it
• Quick Settings tiles: "PC mic" mutes or unmutes every microphone on the PC, "PC play/pause" controls media without opening the app

FINDS YOUR PCS
• Looks for SofaDeck PCs on your Wi-Fi and follows a PC when its address changes
• Save several PCs and reconnect with one tap

SEND TO PC
• Share a link, text, photo or file from any app to SofaDeck: open links in the PC's browser, copy text to the PC clipboard or type it, save files to Downloads > SofaDeck

WAKE YOUR PC
• With SofaDeck Pro on the PC, wake a sleeping PC straight from your phone (Wake-on-LAN)

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Talks only to your own PCs on your local network, over an encrypted connection pinned to each PC's own certificate
• No account, no analytics, no ads, nothing sent to us

FREE, WITH PRO ON THE PC
This app is free with everything included. SofaDeck Pro is a one-time unlock in the PC app (with a 7-day free trial there) that adds unlimited pages and profiles, macros, game library launching, streaming-software scenes, Wake-on-LAN and more. When your PC has Pro, this app shows "Pro" and every Pro page and button automatically.

Needs SofaDeck 1.0.9 or newer on a Windows 10/11 PC or a Mac (macOS 11+), on the same Wi-Fi as the phone. Set-up guide: sofadeck.com/setup
