About this game

Every boss carries glowing violet parts that power its deadliest attacks. Shatter them one by one, slip through its attacks, then break the last one: FORGEBREAK. The boss kneels, and your heroes cut loose.

Bossbreakers is a roguelike action RPG from Nightforge, built around boss battles you win part by part.

BREAK IT APART
• Read the warning shapes, dodge with your hero's mobility move and aim for the parts that matter
• Every part you break takes away some of the boss's attacks
• Break them all for FORGEBREAK: the boss kneels, takes +50% damage and every hero gains Super charge
• 6 bosses across 3 regions: Ashfall March, Slag Wastes and Stormspire Foundry
• 36 campaign Hunts to clear

HUNT YOUR EFFIGY
• THE ARCHITECT forges your Effigy, a personal boss built from your last Hunt
• Check its tier and the ability it brings before you fight
• Beat your Effigy and it returns stronger, tier after tier

DRAFT YOUR BUILD
• Pick augments in the Safe Room and draft power-ups as your Forge Level rises, with fresh draws every Hunt
• Max out a power and hold its partner to evolve it; every hero also has an Ascension of its own
• Stack them on your primary attack, mobility move and Super
• Carve through enemy waves and the FORGE SURGE horde

SQUAD UP WITH AI ALLIES
• Pick your hero; two clearly labelled AI allies fight beside you
• Three heroes, one boss, one FORGEBREAK

GROW YOUR HEROES
• 6 heroes: start with Pilot, Embersmith and Rimewarden, then unlock Reaver, Bulwark and Hierophant
• Earn Cinders to level them up
• Collect, upgrade and equip 18 relics

• THE ARCHITECT'S DAILY: a rotating Daily Hunt
