Paceline builds you a real running plan, not a generic template, for
your next 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, or ultra: 50K, 50 Mile and
100K.
YOUR WHOLE PLAN IS FREE
Every week of your plan, every distance, adaptive adjustments, fueling
targets and reminders are free. No trial countdown, no locked weeks.
Paceline Pro adds deeper insight and control on top, but you never need
it to train for your race. The plan is free, always.
A PLAN THAT KNOWS WHEN YOU'RE TIRED
Most plans only react to whether you hit your pace. Paceline also looks
at how you've recovered. Connect Health Connect (optional) and it reads
your HRV, resting heart rate and sleep from the watch or ring you
already use. When two of those three signals say you're run down, it
suggests trimming your upcoming long runs. One bad night never triggers
it on its own.
It watches your training history too: miss a few workouts or fall
behind on long runs and Paceline proposes a safer long-run distance,
grounded in injury-risk research. It never adds volume, never changes
anything without your review, and every trim can be undone.
Not feeling 100%? Start a recovery break from the Plan tab. Paceline
eases your runs for a few days (or rests you completely if you're
sick), then ramps you back in gently. And when your easy runs keep
coming in faster or slower than prescribed, it offers to update your
easy and long-run paces to match. You decide, and you can undo it.
YOUR SCHEDULE, NOT A FIXED TEMPLATE
Choose how many days a week you run, which weekdays, and which one
carries your long run. Add optional core/strength days if you want
them. Life happens: move any workout to any day, not just within the
same week. Paceline warns you (and never blocks you) if a swap would
stack two hard days back to back or spike your long-run volume.
REAL FUELING NUMBERS
Long runs and race day come with concrete targets: carbs per hour,
fluid and sodium, scaled to the run, plus rehearsal runs so race-day
fueling is something you've practiced, not guessed.
FROM FIRST 5K TO FIRST 100K
Tell Paceline your experience level, your goal and, if you have one,
your target finish time. A first 5K looks nothing like a marathon
training plan, on purpose. New to running? Beginner plans keep the load
gentle and swap hard sessions for easy runs. Experienced runners can
go further: 50 Mile and 100K plans pair each big long run with a second one the next day.
STAY ON TOP OF YOUR TRAINING
- A Home dashboard shows today's workout, this week's planned distance,
and anything you've missed. No guilt, just a clear next step.
- A full calendar with color-coded workout types.
- Structured workout detail (warm-up, main set, cool-down) so interval
and tempo days are never a run-on paragraph.
- Completed runs sync in from Health Connect and match to your plan.
- Streaks, personal bests and milestone badges track your consistency
without turning a missed week into a punishment.
- Helpful reminders, never spam: a heads-up the evening before a long
run, the start of your taper, a missed workout. Usually one a day at most,
and no marketing notifications.
ONE ACCOUNT, YOUR PLAN EVERYWHERE
Creating your plan takes a quick sign-up (email or one-tap Google
Sign-In). That also backs your profile and plan up to the cloud, so
they survive a reinstall or a new phone.
PACELINE PRO
Upgrade for manual control over your plan's periodization (peak long
run, volume, and quality-session emphasis) plus deeper insight screens:
Progress trends of your training compliance, a training-load chart
comparing planned vs. actual weekly volume, a recovery-insights readout
of your HRV and resting heart rate trend, and a race-week readiness
brief that bundles your race-day weather forecast, heat-adjusted goal
pace, fueling targets and pacing into one screen.
Whether you're running your first 5K or your first ultra, Paceline
gives you a plan built around your actual training and recovery, not a
printout.
Marathon, half & 5K-100K running plans that adapt to your recovery and sleep.
