Point your skier downhill and slide left or right through the flag gates, one after another. Clean through each gate and it's a point. Clip a pole and a life's gone, three total. Early runs feel almost lazy — wide gates, plenty of snow, you carving easy turns. Then the gates crowd together and narrow, and the snow starts feeling faster than your thumbs. There's a weird flow when you nail a whole sequence, your swipes landing exactly when the gates arrive, like the mountain finally agrees with you. Then one pole you saw too late ends it, and the quiet slope stares back. Reset. Aim for the next gate.
