Created for those who want to stop smoking for good, the NHS Quit Smoking app is a 28 day programme that puts practical support, encouragement, and tailored clinical advice in the palm of your hand.

The evidence suggests you are 5 times more likely to quit for good if you stay smoke free for 28 days, with this in mind we will help you on your own personal journey to quit.

We’ll be with you every step of the way, helping you achieve your target, picking you up if you stumble, and celebrating your successes for 28 days and beyond!

Every week we will provide a guide broken down into manageable chunks, giving you missions to complete and timely, useful advice.

Every October you can join thousands of people quitting via Stoptober, join the national quit attempt this year!

I found this app to be very usefull in helping me to stop smoking. (35 days now) very good advice, with badges to win and plenty of usefull advice and encouragement all the way... However only the 4*, because after the first 28 days, no more support is offered, and your final badge is in a years time so the app should go beyond 28 days to a full year... That said, well worth downloading and giving it a try.

Been using this App for approx. 8 months. Successfully stopped smoking now for 6 months & I'll never smoke again. I had smoked cigarettes for 20years. I did find the App. irritating at the beginning, but that was about nicotine withdrawal & not the App.! I read a lot & tried to educate myself on the subject of addiction: separating each component, focusing on the facts given here. And playing Conda. This works 👍

I'm finding this app really useful with my journey in quitting smoking. The advice is really helpful. I found the section on thinking about where the triggers are and pre-planning when I was likely to want a cigarette helpful and encouraging. Nearly 3 weeks in and going strong. 😁
