Created for those who want to stop smoking for good, the NHS Quit Smoking app is a 28 day programme that puts practical support, encouragement, and tailored clinical advice in the palm of your hand.
The evidence suggests you are 5 times more likely to quit for good if you stay smoke free for 28 days, with this in mind we will help you on your own personal journey to quit.
We’ll be with you every step of the way, helping you achieve your target, picking you up if you stumble, and celebrating your successes for 28 days - and beyond!
Every week we will provide a guide broken down into manageable chunks, giving you missions to complete and timely, useful advice.

After 30 years of smoking, I've tried a few times to quit but failed. Using this app really helped me understand why I'm quitting. 2nd month in smoke-free, and the money I'm saving is unbelievable, but more importantly, it's my health I'm saving. I went cold turkey, no patches or vape. Willpower is the best aid.

I would like an option for tracking progress due to cutting down. It is not the same as quitting, I know, but if I went from 20 a day to 5 a day, I feel that is an achievement already and if the app acknowledged this, it would be beneficial to anyone who is struggling to make that leap.

It's a really good app, it's helped a lot being able to track progress with days and money saved logged for you, my one criticism is the bit at the bottom that has two messages from previous app users who've given up smoking has not changed, they're the same two messages after 24days, surely these could rotate?
