Developed by someone with firsthand experience of MG, mestiNow addresses the limitations of generic medication scheduling apps by offering features tailored to the unique needs of Mestinon users.

The core problem mestiNow aims to solve stems from the fact that Mestinon has a temporary effect on MG symptoms, and precise timing of doses is crucial for effective management. Unlike rigid scheduling systems, mestiNow allows users to log their medication intake in real-time and dynamically calculates the next recommended dose time.

• Medication Tracking:
◦ Dynamic Dose Scheduling: The app calculates the next recommended dose based on the recommended interval from the last logged dose.
◦ Timer Display: A visual circular progress indicator shows the time remaining until the next recommended Mestinon dose.
◦ Dose Logging: Users can easily log their medication intake with a single tap of the "+ Log Dose Now" button.
◦ Automatic Notifications: The app provides customizable reminders set at the recommended intervals, with push notifications alerting users 10 minutes before the scheduled dose time.
◦ Visual Indicators: Color-coded indicators (green for normal, warning colors for approaching due time, and red for significantly overdue) provide immediate feedback on medication timing.
