About this app

Rekaza records your screen with no time limit and no watermark. Everything is free: no subscription, no in-app purchase, nothing locked.

And no ad ever gets in the way of a take: none at launch, none before, during or right after a recording.

RECORD WITHOUT LIMITS

• Auto, 480p, 720p, 1080p or your screen's own resolution
• 24 to 120 FPS, depending on what your phone's encoder supports
• Bitrate on auto or from 4 to 20 Mbps, with hardware encoding
• Automatic, portrait or landscape orientation
• A 0, 3, 5 or 10-second countdown that never shows up in the video

SOUND YOU CAN TRUST

Choose muted, microphone, device sound (Android 10 and later) or device sound plus your voice, with a separate volume slider for each. Level meters move live while you record, and if the app you are recording blocks audio capture, Rekaza warns you instead of quietly saving a silent video. You can test your mic in the settings.

NEVER LOSE A TAKE

The video is written second by second. If Android closes the app mid-recording, everything up to that second is saved automatically the next time you open Rekaza. The timer counts what is really written.

THE FLOATING BUBBLE

It appears only while you record, and tucks into the edge of the screen when you want it out of the way.

• Pause and resume, stop, take a screenshot
• Brush: draw on the screen in 6 colours and 3 sizes, with undo
• Face cam: front or back camera, round or square, drag it anywhere, pinch to resize
• Jump back to Rekaza in one tap

You can also start and stop from the Quick Settings tile, control everything from the notification, or shake your phone to stop. Recording carries on when the screen turns off, unless you choose otherwise.

EDIT RIGHT ON YOUR PHONE

• Trim and rotate
• Crop: free, 9:16, 16:9, 1:1, 4:5, or cut off the status and navigation bars
• Speed from 0.25× to 4×, with sound that follows and no chipmunk voices
• Compress to 1080p, 720p or 480p
• Remove the sound, or extract it as an .m4a file
• Merge several videos into one

Capture from the bubble or from the app, draw on the image and save it as a new one.

YOUR LIBRARY

Videos, screenshots and audio in separate tabs. Share, rename, delete or open with another app. Files go to your gallery (Movies/Rekaza, Pictures/Rekaza, Music/Rekaza), or stay inside the app if you prefer.

RELIABLE BY DESIGN

A checklist shows what could stop a recording: battery restriction, overlay permission, notifications, free storage. Permissions are requested only when a feature needs them, and kept to a minimum. Ads appear only in the library and settings, and sometimes after an export.
