Salaza gives you the prayer times, calls the adhān, points to the qibla and keeps the adhkār with you. Everything is free, everything works offline, and nothing is locked behind a purchase.

WHY SALAZA

• No in-app purchase, no subscription, no account. The widget, the seven muezzins, the backup and the adhkār are open from the first second.
• No advertising during worship. Not a single ad on the adhkār, the duʿāʾ, the tasbih, the qibla or while the adhān is playing — and never one when you open the app.
• The adhān really sounds. A system alarm wakes a dedicated service that plays the full call with the screen off, at its own volume: pressing the volume keys no longer cuts it off.
• 14 languages, content included. The adhkār, the duʿāʾ, the prayer names and the calculation methods are translated — not just the buttons. Full right-to-left Arabic.

PRAYER TIMES

• 18 calculation methods, from the Muslim World League to Umm al-Qurā, Diyanet, Kemenag, UOIF and the Moroccan ministry of Habous — the one used in your country is suggested for you.
• Ḥanafī or standard asr, high-latitude rules, and a manual correction of up to 60 minutes per prayer to match the mosque you pray at.
• Location by GPS, by city from a list of 13,329 towns, or by latitude and longitude typed by hand. A location you chose is never overwritten.
• Monthly timetable and Ramadan imsākiyya with imsāk, ifṭār and the length of the fast, shareable as plain text.

THE ADHĀN

• Seven muezzins, plus the takbīr and the iqāma — a different voice for each prayer if you like.
• Its own volume slider, iqāma reminder, early reminder, night-prayer alarm at the middle or the last third of the night, and a Friday reminder for Sūrat al-Kahf.
• A diagnostics screen that answers the real question — why was the adhān silent? — with the button that fixes each cause.

QIBLA

• A compass measured from TRUE north, with the magnetic declination applied. No compass on your phone? The app says so and gives you the bearing to read off a map, instead of showing a needle that never moves.

ADHKĀR, DUʿĀʾ AND TASBIH

• Morning, evening, before sleep, on waking and after prayer, with the Arabic text, its transliteration, its translation and a counter.
• 23 supplications sorted by occasion, and a tasbih whose dhikr you can add, edit and delete.
• Adjustable Arabic text size.

• Hijri calendar (Umm al-Qurā) with the notable days, adjustable by up to two days to match your country.
• Prayer tracking, home-screen widget, light and dark themes, and a backup you can read in any text editor.
