Nice app but watch your data Very nice music player. I installed it to stream music from my onedrive. I found the groove app to be pretty average for searching and sorting through a music library. CloudPlayer does a better job BUT it chewed through 1.5Gb of data and all I did was play 1 album. Not sure why it needs so much data? Makes me not trust it as it could cost me a ton in data charges.
OK app with missing features... This app could use gapless playing of files, better sorting options, being able to access the sd card and being able to play streams. While the app is good enough for most of the stuff you might do it's just missing these features which I really would've liked to see. Especially the better sorting options, you can't even sort by track number in this version, or save a sorted playlist and make it the new original list order. This is especially annoying for me and I think it's weird it's not a feature.
The Times Have Changed.. With the rise in cloud storage based products, and mobile device manufacturers opting to exclude expandable storage, Cloud Player is a no brainer. I have now moved all of my music into my Onedrive account and synced it with Cloud Player. Done deal. I like the ability to tweak eq settings and I am pleased with the overall UI. I would like to see theme support and more customizable options.
A couple of issues Good app, worth 5 stars once there is gapless playback which is badly needed and issues below are addressed. I found that even will cell data turned off in the app it still used cell data if I went out of Wi-Fi range while it was scanning google drive. I disabled cell data for the app in Android settings now it doesn't use cell data. This was reported to support. Also, occasionally albums with the same name from different artists are grouped together under one artist in the album artist view.
Overall Very nice app Wonderful music app. Not every music app suits to my taste but after powerAmp this is the app from which I am very much impressed. But I faced a problem in selecting more than 2 favorite radio stations. I have tried several times but it's not fixed. Can you please help me
So far so good The volume stays very low while casting and volume control makes little difference. Nice to be able to manage and delete what you have in the cloud as well. Amazon drive support would be great none of the other apps similar had that either though. One slight problem. Had to restart a couple of times it got stuck downloading. They were big 24 bit flacs though so not entirely surpised. I'll update once I've been using it for my free 30 days.
