Frustrating Control I love everything about this game except the touch controls. A lot of work and love went into creating this world and these characters. It's a shame I have so much trouble keeping them from walking off ledges, missing jumps, and getting caught on the tops of ladders. I can't seem to figure out what makes them continue moving after I've stopped touching the screen. About half the time, I have serious trouble interacting with objects. I really want to keep playing, but it's pretty frustrating.
Not really meant for mobile Great art and humor, but the touchscreen controls on mobile are incredibly frustrating. Frequently having my characters jump in the wrong direction, jump when they're not supposed to, or failing to jump when they are. At one point the Scientist got into a loop where she kept running off a cliff, respawning, and running off the cliff again without any user interaction. Had to quit and restart the game.
Close but no cigar I really think this game would be great but, like everyone else is saying, the controls are awful! I don't mind swipe controls sometimes. Limbo executes it perfectly. This game? Not even close. With some polished on screen controls I think this game could be incredible
This game is awesome! I like this on my phone better than my tablet or xbox. That alone is epic, it is so hard to find good games for a phone. The controls are great for touchscreen - the wonkiness is so well suited to this style of game anyway, and adds to the retro charm. I love this game. UPDATE: So the game is crazy short. (didn't play my dad's xbox copy enough, and you can totally break the game with the time traveler). This is a 3 dollar game. Still great on phone ... but ... I still think it is a five star game (mostly because it works on my phone) but folk should know what they pay for. This is a phone game. A very good phone game. Not worthy of a tablet though!
Worth every penny Hours and hours of enjoyable playthrough, and that was just my first journey with only three of the seven characters (and only one ending each of the two). Wonderful story about the weight of the decisions we make in pursuit of what we want. I definitely felt like I had made some weighty decisions, some even scary. I'll play through again soon with three new characters and therefore a whole new set of stories! Only issue was performance, Google suggests that a common kitkat issue is all. Low framerate: Note3
Works great on my phone Nexus 6 One thing though. The controls are great but only with an Xbox 360 controller connected via otg cable. The touch controls suck so if you can't connect an Xbox 360 controller to your phone you may not want to buy this game.I loved it on ouya and that why I bought it. Tried to run it after installing cm11 and it didn't work. Will post back after I do a USB key hack to let everyone know how it runs. On the original stock ouya this game is excellent. Its also excellent on nexus 6 but only with a physical ctrl.
