My favorite Checked out a few similar apps and fell in love with this one. It performs exactly as advertised and then some. The dev is not only responsive but also human, a rare thing on the market these days. With a name like Wakey, how can you resist?
Unreliable lately Have Samsung Galaxy S3 & free version Wakey for some years now. Always loved this simple useful app. Since last 2 or 3 updates found Wakey frequently turning itself off prematurely despite having set it for maximum wake time. This "turning itself off" can happen immediately after beginning an activation session or a few minutes into a session. Sometimes icon does not show in Status Bar when it's active either. Irritating it does not reliably comply with it's own settings. Never had this problem previously.
I love it . Really good for stock android devices like my Lenovo A5500-HV .
Works again on LG G3 Marshmallow update The app works perfectly after the update as in the previous version you can't grant access to the app and that was LG's problem. Now the feature is back and works great. My only complaint is the the ongoing notification on the notification drawer cannot be disabled since I never used it and never will plus taking unnecessary space. I only use the the icon on the status bar. I tried the 2nd option on the premium page but nothing happened. Other than that app works great with few minor glitches sometimes.
Love it but.. Using a S7 edge, when I put it in CPU stay on mode it still turns the app that was on off or paused. Have i misunderstood this feature? Be nice to have the screen off but the app still working or maybe it just turns the screen black instead of locking for us amoled users?
Does what I need it to I needed an app that would keep the screen awake when playing Ingress. AppWake does the job. I had some problems getting it set up. The developer responded quickly and was very helpful.
Quite a few behind-the-scenes fixes, including several Google Play Store policy fixes (no longer using Advertising ID for support reasons, new "About" page to give attribution for OSS libraries used, allow opt-out of analytics)
Fix for CPU Mode killing itself when the screen went off.
Some users are reporting an issue where Wakey disables itself shortly after being enabled. If you are experiencing that, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, I need help understanding what's happening. Thanks!
