About this app

TART Connect is a free on-demand transportation service. The service operates in select service areas:

- Tahoe City / Kings Beach, CA (includes West Shore, Olympic Valley and Northstar)
- Truckee, CA
- Incline Village, NV

It's easy to use!

- Input your ride info to view the estimated wait time. Then, just tap to confirm your request.
- Track your driver’s progress. We’ll let you know when we’re getting close!

Ratings and reviews

Review is for the app, not the service. Wish it had a notification on the lock screen to see the wait time. Sometimes the wait time jumps from 40 minutes to 20, before the driver is heading your way; would like a notification for this non-consecutive change in the count down till pickup. Would like to be able to refresh the time estimate given before booking WITHOUT having to reset the request details. Otherwise the simple app pretty much serves it's purpose.

I'm convinced this app is a crypto miner. The lowest wait time I got was 50 minutes and when I requested the ride and waited for the shuttle the timer just went up and before I cancelled the ride it's time estimate was 30 minutes more than the initial 81 minutes. That's on top of some weird bugs: when I went into this app after being in YouTube it just cancelled my ride and another bug where it didn't let me see where the driver was at all. All it was was a timer for my time wasted.

The app rarely, if ever, says what my estimated wait time is while I'm waiting. It used to before this update. Now it chooses to when it feels like it. Ridiculous for people trying to get off work late. The service itself is great. This review is just for the app itself.
