I love the ISV Bible version but the ads shown at the top of my screen seem very inappropriate. I have not opened any of them but they look to be nudes.

A simple app, easy to use. ISV is one of the lesser-known translations but is an excellent one reflecting scholarship and literally excellence. It takes the middle way between literal (like NRSV, ESV, NASB) and dynamic (NIV, NLT). Beware: The "daily gospel" tab however displays the Roman Catholic daily lectionary in New American Bible (not ISV!) which differs from well-known Protestant daily readings such as RCL or those of the Episcopal Church BCP.
