I have trouble with focus timers because they never seem to actually excite me, or motivate me to use them. However with focus hero I get a timer and the incentive of a little dopamine rush when I get to play the game after. Its very effective for me. I also have not encountered any problems with the app so far. The only thing I would want improved is a stopwatch timer instead of just a countdown. Sometimes I get really wrapped up in what im doing, and thats a good thing, I'd like if it counted.

Edit: The app was nice but I can't go on adventures anymore unless I pay for it. Which is understandable cause you guys have to make money and all, but I guess the situation is a bit tough for people who can't afford it like me. What was unique about this focusing app was the reward of being able to do things in adventure mode, but now there's kind of no point in getting focus points since you can't really do anything with it unless you pay. It's still a good app though. Pretty fun.

This game is actually really good for focusing. I'm always struggled with procrastination and getting distracted while doing my work and I really like that it has a more strict mode where you can't go to other apps and flexible mode where you can go to other apps. It also does a really good job because it makes failing a mission feel really bad which makes you not want to fail so it helps you stay focused. Overall very good app if you're prone to distraction.
