Install .AABs .APKs on your Android device — no computer, no root, no command line.

Modern Android apps are often distributed as bundles rather than a single APK file. If you have ever downloaded an .apks, .xapk or .apkm file and found that your phone simply would not open it, this app is the missing piece. AAB Installer reads those bundle files and install the app they contain, in a few taps.


WHAT IT DOES

Installing apps is the whole purpose of this app. You pick a bundle file from your device, the app reads what is inside it, and then installs the application package on your phone. That is the core function, not a side feature.

Supported files:
• .apks — APK set files produced by bundletool
• .apk — plain single APK files install too


HOW IT WORKS

1. Tap "Open file" and choose your bundle with Android's own file picker.
2. Review the app name, package name, version and the splits inside it before anything is installed.
3. Tap Install. The app hands the packages to Android's own installer, which asks you to confirm.

That is it. No account, no sign-up, no waiting on a server.


BUILT FOR THE JOB

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your files never leave your device. Every file you open is read and unpacked locally, in this app's own private storage, and the temporary files are deleted when the job finishes.

We run no servers. We have no account system. We collect nothing about you, and we could not look at your files even if we wanted to. The app is supported by ads, and our ad provider does collect standard advertising data — our privacy policy sets out exactly what, in plain language, rather than pretending otherwise.


ABOUT PERMISSIONS

• Install unknown apps (REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES) — this is required to install the packages inside the file you choose. It is the app's core function and is only ever used when you explicitly tap Install.

Built for developers, testers and anyone who needs to install an app that did not come from a store. If a file will not work, send us the details — we would rather fix it than leave you guessing.
