App Saver is a simple, offline backup and restore tool for the apps already installed on your phone. Save any installed app as an APK file you keep on your own device, then reinstall it later — even if the app has been removed from the Play Store, updated to a version you didn't want, or lost when switching phones.

Unlike basic APK extractors, App Saver also handles modern apps correctly. Most apps published today ship as Android App Bundles, which means the version on your device is split across a base APK plus several extra files for your screen density, CPU and language. Copying just one of those files gives you a backup that fails with "App not installed" when you try to restore it. App Saver detects these apps, backs up every part, and reinstalls them together as a complete set.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Open App Saver and browse the list of apps installed on your device
2. Tap any app to save it — App Saver copies the complete package to your storage
3. Find your saved apps in the backup list inside the app
4. Tap Restore on any backup to reinstall it, and confirm the standard Android install prompt

ABOUT PERMISSIONS

App Saver asks for permission to install apps because restoring a backup is the core purpose of this app — that permission is what allows a saved APK to be installed back onto your device. Android always shows you its own confirmation screen before anything is installed, so you stay in control of every restore. Storage access is used to write your backup files and read them again when you restore.

App Saver does not collect personal data, does not require an account, and does not upload your apps or backups anywhere. Everything stays on your device.

NOTE: Restoring a backup of a paid app, or sharing APK files with people who do not own the app, may breach that app's licence terms. Please only back up and restore apps you have legitimately obtained.
