The Stemoscope is a really informative and useful little tool to have around and I like using it. The app however almost ruins the whole experience... it's really, borderline unusably bad. My phone constantly tells me the app isn't responding. The phone gets scorching hot while using it and drains the battery super fast. The interface freezes when viewing or trying to save a file. I'd love to get another piece of Stemoscope hardware but I don't think I can until they give us a competent app.

Sadly, the app is kind of buggy. Skipping in a recording to another time position, resets the playback. That's especially annoying with longer recordings. Also, the video recording does not work at all. There's a pop up and the video recording view just closes. Those things did work in the stemoscope app. Edit: 9 months later still no fix.

for some reason it's missing features that the previous version of the app had. bizarre and super frustrating.
