Drumpling is a drum practice and songwriting app for guitarists, bassists and other musicians. Generate realistic drum grooves, jam with an evolving virtual drummer, build complete drum arrangements, practice with a flexible metronome, and tune your instrument — all in one app.
JAM WITH AN EVOLVING DRUMMER
Jam Mode turns any groove into a longer, changing drum performance you can play along with. Start from a Starter Groove, one of your saved loops, or a fresh groove. The drummer develops the groove over time, moves through different energy levels, and can add fills and phrase changes with Transitions.
GENERATE DRUM GROOVES
Use Groove Studio to create drum loops for practice, songwriting or backing tracks. Choose your tempo, time signature, number of bars and groove character, then adjust settings such as swing, fills, complexity and double kick.
Create grooves across rock, pop, funk, jazz, blues, metal, punk, reggae, hip-hop, country and Latin styles.
BUILD COMPLETE DRUM TRACKS
Use Song Builder to turn grooves into structured arrangements with different sections and energy levels. Build a quick backing track for practice or create a full drum arrangement for your own song.
PRACTICE WITH A MUSICAL METRONOME
Use a traditional click or practice with drum grooves at your chosen tempo. Drumpling supports common and odd time signatures, multiple click and drum sounds, and custom programmable click tracks with tempo and meter changes between sections.
