Hush turns messy speech into clean, polished text, entirely on your phone. No account, no cloud, no subscription. It even works in airplane mode.
WHY HUSH
Most voice keyboards send your audio to a server to transcribe it. Hush doesn't. Speech recognition and text cleanup both run as on-device AI models, so your voice and your words never leave your phone, not for transcription, not for "improving the product," not ever.
HOW IT WORKS
• Tap the Hush bubble in any app, anywhere you can type: messages, email, notes, forms.
• Speak naturally. Hush shows what it's hearing in real time.
• When you stop, an on-device language model settles your words into clean, punctuated text, fixing filler words, run-ons, and awkward phrasing, without changing what you meant.
• Review the result and send it into the field, or set Hush to insert automatically.
TEACH IT YOUR WORDS
Names, brands, and jargon that general dictation always gets wrong? Add them to Hush's personal dictionary once, and it learns to hear them correctly from then on. Stored only on your device.
BUILT FOR PRIVACY, NOT JUST WORDING IT
• No account or sign-in, ever.
• No analytics, no ad SDKs, no crash reporting, no tracking of any kind.
• The microphone is only active while you're actively dictating.
• The one and only network request Hush ever makes is a one-time download of its offline speech/cleanup models, and only after you explicitly approve it.
• Export or wipe your personal dictionary and settings at any time, right from the app.
THE FLOATING BUBBLE
Hush's dictation bubble uses Android's accessibility service, not to read what you're doing, but only to notice when a text field is focused, so it knows when to appear and where to insert your finished text. It never stores or transmits what's on your screen.
Hush is for anyone who talks faster than they type, and would rather their words stayed theirs.
