DTB 24/7 is the revamped mobile banking app from Diamond Trust Bank Kenya Limited (DTB). The app provides an enhanced user experience that enables DTB account holders bank on the go wherever they are securely.

So, what can you do with this revamped app?

1. View details of your bank accounts.
2. Securely authorize transaction via a 6 digit pin or biometrically using fingerprints.
3. Utility bill presentment 5 days before bills are due for payment.
4. Access and select beneficiaries of mobile money transfer as well as airtime purchase from your phonebook.
5. Personalize your app by uploading custom profile picture.
6. Scan and pay at participating merchant outlets courtesy of Masterpass QR.
7. Funds transfer to other banks via RTGS or PesaLink.
8. Locate all branch and ATM’s close to your current location.
9. Initiate chequebook requests as well as stop cheque requests.


1. Fingerprint authorization for transactions is available for applicable devices only
2. Customers need to have registered for DTB mobile banking service in-order to access services on DTB 24/7. Mobile banking registrations can be done at any branch.

The App is useful on Mobile Banking Only 3 concern issue for improvement for better security. First the developer should ensure the app factor simswap when change of simcard. Secondly on the strength of the password should be able to take more than 6 character that is numerical, alphabetical, special characters, caps. Thirdly the app should enable to fetch bank statement for any period range to be sent to registered mail and summary of transaction history more of DEBIT & CREDIT than chart.

I got an email and also kept getting prompts to update app for enhanced security and features, now I can't login at all getting error message "Unfortunately DTB m24/7 has stopped. Previous app worked just fine ... this is very inconvenient!!

I can barely get past the sign up screen. Keeps throwing the error that my photo doesn't match my ID like, why? Shaved off my beard even to match up with my ID card snap. Kindly do not advertise the ability to sign up remotely if it doesn't work. Uninstalled the app, reinstalled, cleared data + cache, did a device reboot and switched from using WiFi to data. I barely have time to leave the house as I'm tied to my work and remote classes, now I have to find time to go visit a branch. Frustrating.
