DueNest is a daily life-oriented expiration date and item reminder tool, suitable for users who want to manage their household items more neatly and orderly. It's more than just a simple countdown list; it provides a more user-friendly way to record, remind, and organize items based on real-world scenarios such as food, skincare, makeup, medicine, plants, daily necessities, and pet supplies.

Many things aren't used up immediately after purchase. Food in the refrigerator, stockpiled snacks, opened serums, lipsticks and foundations, commonly used medicines, nutritional supplements, cleaning supplies, cat and dog food, and plant watering and fertilizing schedules can all be forgotten if not recorded in time. DueNest aims to solve this kind of small waste in life: reducing waste, lowering the risk of expiration, and allowing you to quickly know which items need to be prioritized when needed.

DueNest supports time selection down to the minute. You can set expiration dates, opening dates, or the next plant care time for items, and the app will schedule local reminders based on your selected dates and times. For items requiring more detailed management, you can record information such as quantity, storage location, batch origin, remaining quantity, usage and dosage, number of months usable after opening, light conditions, watering cycle, and fertilization cycle.

Different categories use different management fields, avoiding mixing everything into a single, generic form. Food can record storage status and batch; medicine can record dosage, usage, and remaining quantity; skincare and makeup can record opening time, expiration date after opening, color number, and texture; plants can record light, watering, and fertilization cycles; and daily necessities and pet supplies can record remaining quantity and origin. This ensures that each addition is more closely aligned with actual needs and is easier to find later.

Custom fields are also supported. You can add your own text or selection fields for a category, such as brand, color number, purchase channel, target audience, skin type, fragrance, size, and pet name. Custom fields are included in the record management, facilitating later retrieval and organization according to your preferences.

The homepage will aggregate and display items you need to follow, including expired, expires today, and soon-to-expire items. Once items expire, you can quickly mark them as used up, discard them, or postpone reminders. This approach is suitable for real-life situations: some items are indeed used up, some need to be disposed of promptly, and some simply require rescheduling reminders. By placing these actions on near-expiry and expired items, it reduces the hassle of navigating through multiple pages.

The inventory page supports search and category filtering. You can search for items by name, location, notes, batch, remaining quantity, usage, etc., or view only food, medicine, skincare, makeup, plants, or other categories. For users who frequently stock up, enjoy organizing skincare and makeup products, manage a home medicine cabinet, or care for multiple plants, this centralized view allows for faster problem identification.

Ruqi's visual style leans towards femininity, lightness, and cuteness without being overly childish. The app offers multiple themes, including soft pink and artistic, sage green, and a trendy nighttime style. You can switch to your preferred theme in the settings, making the tool both usable and more appealing to use daily.

The reminder function uses local notifications. You can view the notification description in the settings page and navigate to the system notification settings to enable permissions. Notification permissions are only used to send reminders at the times you set, and will not be used for irrelevant push notifications.

Ads are included to support continuous development. The app may display splash screen ads during cold starts or long periods of inactivity; once the daily free add-up quota is used up, users can actively watch reward ads to unlock additional add-ups; native ads are only placed in the inventory list content, no longer below the "Need to Follow" area on the homepage. We want ads to exist but not overshadow the core experience.

Ruqi is not a complex warehouse system, nor is it a large-scale accounting software. It's more like a handy daily assistant: adding items is quick, reminders are accurate, categorization is detailed, and the interface is user-friendly. It helps you see things you almost forgot in advance, dispose of expired items promptly, and make your household items more manageable.
