About this app

You said you'd host. Now there's a guest list to track, a table to fill, and somebody always ends up covering the drinks. Hostara Table keeps the whole evening in one place instead of three group chats and a napkin.

Start an event — a date, a title, maybe a note about where to park. Whichever gathering you tap becomes the active one, and everything below follows it around automatically.

Guests: name, plus-ones, and a Yes/Maybe/No chip. The headcount at the top only counts confirmed heads (plus their plus-ones), so you know exactly how many chairs to pull out.

Dishes: five categories — starter, main, side, dessert, drink — each one a foldout list. Assign a dish to a guest or leave it unclaimed; the banner up top tells you at a glance how many spots are still open.

Costs: log what got bought and who fronted it. Hostara Table splits the total evenly across your confirmed guests and works out who's owed money and who still needs to chip in — plain numbers, no wallets or transfers involved, just the math sorted before anyone has to ask.

Switch events any time — last month's picnic and next weekend's dinner don't mix, but nothing is ever deleted for you.
Plan the guest list, the dishes, and who owes who — one dinner at a time.

What’s new

v1.1.0 — Hostara Table opens with events, guest RSVPs with a live confirmed headcount, a five-category dish board with an unclaimed-dish counter, and a shared-cost splitter with a settle-up list. A sample dinner is loaded in so the table isn't empty on the first look.
