About this app

Tired of asking a hundred times who takes out the bin, who makes the bed or when allowance day is? DutyFamily turns household chores into a game for the whole family: kids earn a symbolic allowance for completing chores, and parents run the house from their phone with everything written down.

All money in the app is SYMBOLIC: no real payments are processed and no bank details are ever requested. It is an educational tool so your children learn the value of effort, responsibility and saving.

✅ CHORES THAT ACTUALLY GET DONE
• Create chores with their own reward, or import them from a catalogue of 20 ready-made ones
• One-off or recurring: daily, weekly, monthly or yearly
• Assign a chore to one person, split it between several (one each) or leave it open for whoever grabs it first
• The member marks the chore as done and an admin approves it: only then does it get paid
• Streak bonus: rewards anyone who keeps it up several days in a row
• Kids can propose their own chores too ("I'll clean the windows for €2") and you set the final price

• Tap a day to see and add what's on: green dots for chores, blue dots for events

• Weekly points leaderboard with a podium: every approved chore counts
• It resets every Monday, so everyone starts with the same chances
• Badges for milestones: first chore, streaks, savings, rewards redeemed and more
• Admins can edit each badge and attach a balance prize to it

• Real-time family list: whatever one person adds, everyone sees instantly
• Catalogue with nearly 100 products and a search box that suggests as you type
• Tap a product when it goes in the trolley and it leaves the basket
