About this app

šŸ‘ Gamepad Pro is a controller key mapper for Android: turn the gamepad you already own into touch controls and play touch-only games with real buttons. No root.

Map buttons, analog sticks and L2/R2 triggers to taps, holds and swipes. Build a layout per game, switch layouts mid-match, and add macros, turbo and combos.

No cloning, no ADB for the core setup. Map your controls and start playing. šŸ‘šŸ‘

šŸ† DRAG. MAP. PLAY.

Add a game, open the mapping editor, and drag each control onto the matching spot on screen. Save it and launch the game from Gamepad Pro.

āœ… BUTTON, STICK & TRIGGER MAPPING

Map controller buttons, both analog sticks, the D-pad and analog triggers to taps, holds and swipes, with adjustable stick sensitivity.

āœ… MULTI-BUTTON CONTROL

Move, aim and act at the same time — built for games that need several simultaneous inputs.

āœ… A PROFILE FOR EVERY GAME

Save an independent mapping per game, so you always come back to the right layout.

āœ… PHASES — MULTIPLE LAYOUTS FOR ONE GAME

Create multiple Phases for different parts of the same game, such as Movement, Driving, Parachuting, Combat or Menus.

šŸ”„ SWITCH PHASES WHILE YOU PLAY

Pick another Phase from the floating control without leaving the game, or assign a button to cycle through layouts instantly.

āœ… COMBINATION BUTTONS

Use a combination of controller buttons as a single trigger, adding shortcuts without giving up existing controls.

⚔ ONE-TRIGGER MACROS

Build a sequence of touch actions and run the whole thing from one controller input — ideal for repeated routines.

šŸš€ TURBO ACTIONS

Hold a button to repeat a mapped touch action automatically, at a repeat rate you set per action.

šŸ“³ VIBRATION FEEDBACK

Feel a haptic response when a mapped control fires, in light, medium or strong.

šŸŽÆ BUILT FOR EVERY KIND OF GAME

Shooters and battle royale, MOBA and MMORPG, racing, action RPG, open world, fighting, survival, idle and clicker games, plus retro emulators — if it takes touch input, you can map a controller to it.

āœ… NO CLONING, NO ROOT, NO ADB

Gamepad Pro maps controller input straight to screen actions: no cloned copy of your game, no root, and no ADB for the core setup. A few advanced options can use Shizuku; mapping itself does not.

āœ… GREAT CONTROLLER COMPATIBILITY šŸŽ®

Gamepad Pro works with many wired and wireless controllers supported by Android, and button labels can adapt to popular controller layouts.

šŸ› ļø HOW TO GET STARTED

1. Open Gamepad Pro and follow the guided setup.
2. Enable the Accessibility Service and connect your controller.
3. Enable the Gamepad Pro keyboard for sticks and L2/R2 triggers.
4. Tap Add, pick your game, drag the controls into position.
5. Save, launch the game, and play.

āš ļøāš ļø PERMISSIONS

Accessibility Service:

Gamepad Pro uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to turn your configured controller actions into taps and swipes. It is required for mapping to work outside the app, only performs the actions you create, and never collects or uploads your personal data.

āŒØļø Gamepad Pro Keyboard:

Android’s Accessibility Service cannot read analog stick or L2/R2 trigger values. The Gamepad Pro input method captures these inputs so they can be mapped correctly, and may also be used for text input.

šŸ“± COMPATIBILITY

Compatibility may vary with your device, Android version, controller, and how each game handles touch input or overlays.

ā¤ļø NEED HELP?

Play Store reviews don’t give us enough detail to investigate technical problems. If something isn’t working, open Gamepad Pro and go to Settings > Feedback.

I keep hesitating whether to download this app because of past experiences but I kind of gave in when I got a Gamepad myself. Just when I thought I found a Great Gamepad Keymapper that works, it can't do Multi Touch Inputs. In other words, Complex Games like FPS, MMORPGs, and/or MOBA are a no go because you need to constantly press buttons. TLDR: Multi Touch Inputs are Necessary. Note: Multi Touch Inputs means you press 2 - 6 Fingers on the Screen at the Same Time. But you can't in this App.

Didn't try it with complex games. But it works perfectly fine where you just need to click.

What’s new

• Fixed mappings going dead after an hour or two of play: sticks and triggers only came back after restarting the service.
• Fixed held buttons all firing again every few seconds mid-game until the accessibility service was turned off.
• Saving a layout with sticks or triggers no longer interrupts you with keyboard setup.
• FAQ & Help: video tutorials in the answers, plus four new questions.
• Fixed swapped LB/RB and LT/RT labels on the controller test screen.
