About this app

We all have arms and legs, muscles and joints that allow us to act, to grasp, to get up, to balance, to walk, to jump, to run, to climb, in short, to allow us to move.
Our life today does not always allow us to move as much as we should. We move little when traveling by car or motorbike, we use escalators and elevators. We spend a lot of time sitting in an armchair watching television, sitting at a computer working or sitting listening to a lecture.
Not moving is called sedentary lifestyle or physical inactivity and physical inactivity is only increasing in the world.
We now know that physical inactivity is directly involved in the development of serious chronic diseases such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease and obesity. Through these diseases, physical inactivity is today indirectly the leading cause of mortality in Europe. However, these diseases are largely preventable if we all find appropriate physical activity.
The World Health Organization, WHO, has determined physical activity thresholds beyond which it is possible to measure a beneficial impact on health. This involves carrying out at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity, at least 5 days a week, in periods of at least 10 minutes with flexibility and muscle strengthening exercises.
What is your level of physical activity today? This application allows you to measure your level of physical activity through a short assessment.
How are you in shape today? The application offers you simple tests allowing you to determine your level of strength, flexibility, adaptation to effort and your balance. Do at least one test in each of these categories: strength, flexibility, balance and adaptation to exercise. You can do more if you want.
Take it easy, there is no competition, it is not about performance, just to help you determine your current state of form.
Go for it !
