It takes up too much space and you have to constantly update it to keep playing. *Edit I've started to play this again so sad to hear that it is shutting down, yes this game has had many problems and glitches over the years but all in all it was a very fun game to play. "Time Well Spent!!!" *Said in Comic Book Guys voice

Been playing since college (so almost 10 years) and absolutely devastated it's coming to an end!!! 😭 It's been an amazing game and I've loved that I can continue to login and work on quests and my perfect little Springfield, even if quests have technically finished. Its made it through three different phones and a cross-country move with me. What will I do after January 24?! I will be missing my little Springfield...

I have nostalgic memories i carry with me from this of the app store originals i remember playing as a kid helped me pass the time. I began anew this year in hopes of surpassing my childhood gameplay with great success i reached level 40 in 3 months the furthest i had gotten with dreams of building my empire to the top my dreams are cut short. The recent update tells us of how the game is to be discontinued in january. I am obviously disappointed heartbroken and hurt. EA wins again

What's new

With the future saved, it looks like Springfield can finally settle down for a nice, relaxing fall. While it'll take a few weeks for everything to go back to whatever counts as normal, we're sure that the presence of time travelers and a possibly rogue AI won't cause any problems at all. Right? Right. We're totally fine. Really looking forward to a nice, relaxing fall.
