Prayer times, fasting, the muezzin and the qibla in practice, and a legal scientific library
Al-Sharafiya is an integrated application that contains all the daily needs of every Muslim, including the times of the five daily prayers, the time of sunrise, the evening prayer, and the last third, the meridional time and the sunset time, and it calculates the times in the Arctic and sub-Arctic regions in an accurate, scientific and practical manner. It also includes the muezzin’s alarm, determining the Qibla, and pictures of the most important Islamic references and books. The full texts of the Islamic Library, and in detail the application includes:
- Display prayer times in solar time and sunset time according to your geographical location, which is determined using GPS, or by choosing the place from an extensive list of cities by country.
- The application supports many multiple methods for accurately calculating times (Honorary University, Egyptian Survey, Umm Al-Qura Mecca, Karachi University, Islamic Society of North America, Muslim World League and fifteen other methods)
- The application supports the calculation of timings according to the Honorary University method in the Arctic and sub-Arctic regions in an accurate, scientific, practical manner in accordance with a solid legal fatwa by estimating the timings on days in which the daylight is less than 6 hours or more than 16 hours, and in a manner that is precisely and smoothly consistent with the days in which they are achieved.
