The Official Star Trek: Lower Decks Idle Game!

Finally, after yet another tedious duty roster, the Lower Decks crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos is ready to party at a Zebulon Sisters concert! Tendi's even more excited, as this'll be her first Chu Chu Dance! But first, they need to get through routine training exercises on the holodeck, which Boimler has been entrusted to organize. Boimler? With power? When has that ever been good?

Impatient to get to the dance, the crew try to end the simulation only to find the Cerritos’ computer has been hijacked by rogue AI Badgey. He’s locked them in the holodeck and deactivated all safety protocols – so now Boimler, Tendi, Rutherford and Mariner must work through Star Trek stories, both familiar and new, so they can return to the real world. But be careful – if they don’t succeed, they’ll die for real. And even worse: they’ll miss the party!

I actually really enjoy the storyline in the game. I didn't expect to, but it's really fun. The game however, is like any other idle game. The in-game currency for leveling up characters though is extremely scarce and makes it clear that the game is a money grab. It makes it so hard to get dilithium to level up characters that you either have to spend a ton of time on game monotonously collecting the money or spend money to get there. It's rather obnoxious. Fix that, and I'd enjoy it more.

game has potential, but falls short on a number of things. For timed events you have to spend a substantial amount just to finish it, not get a good spot in the leaderboards but just to finish. the dialogue is half assed and full of errors, with some character comments feeling out of place or completely random. the flow is bad. the references were cool but that's this games only redeeming quality. there are better games out there.

100% an LD branded click farm disguised as a game. The writing is on brand for the series, even if it has the depth of a pop up ad. The problem is, accessing the "content" requires you to either pay through the nose, or spend nearly the entire "gaming" session watching ad after ad. If you're a diehard fan, I get it, but you'd still be better off watching reruns of the show.
