Nice little app. I loved the physical game and decided to pick this up. For $4.99 isn't bad. lets you play online in a system where i take my turn and then you have 48 hours to take your turn. really allows me to have a relaxing time playing it and at a pace when I am free to be able to play it. Expansions aren't too costly and do add a layer of difficulty and strategyto the game. I don't tend to touch the campaign as they got slightly difficult for me with specific mission objectives but all in all a nice app.
This game needs an easy mode. Decent game, however, I think the devs erred, like many modern games their easy mode, really isn't. Look I get people want a challenge but there are these things called normal and hard mode. But easy should be---well i'll let you look that word up because maybe the definition has changed. But let's assume it has not in which case how about a version for for beginners, getting beat time and again does not make me want to come back. I need to see that there is at least a chance to win.
Great card game wonderfully implemented as an app. I would still love a more feature rich online matchmaker. To help reorient oneself when playing asynchronous online matches counters, actual numbers (perhaps in the now empty lower left), showing my deck composition by color and further broken down into Bases and Ships would also be extremely helpful.
Pretty Damn good for free. Considering you pay nothing for a great adaptation of a great card game it's pretty fun. I paid for the "full"game but be warned that does not include the expansions.online play is well worth it. Also the pass and play feature is really nice for couch fun with a friend. Lastly, if you buy it once you make an account that you can use on any device unlike the money pit fall that is mtg. My only issue is it can be a bit buggy and clunky with the online play and the UI is a bit sloppy. But still well worth it.
Great game! I've been playing this on tabletop since it was first released and I just heard about this yesterday. If there is one thing I am looking forward to, it would be a possible solitary fights against the dark pirates, and others.
The game is fun, but needs some serious balancing issues regarding unit discarding It seems you are basically forced to use at least the red units, because they are just about the only faction that can discard units, which becomes pretty important. Also, for some reason Mission 4 of the FIRST CAMPAIGN mission is EXTREMELY difficult. I don't expect the factions to change, since it is based off of a card game, but just he ready for the AI to kick your ass for some reason.
