Padiddle keeps your drum rudiment practice organized with a simple, tactile approach that treats every exercise like a flashcard resting on a practice pad. The Dashboard greets you with chalk-like counters that display your total rudiment library and the number of patterns you have practiced today, plus a quick-action metronome tile to jump straight into logging a new exercise. In the Rudiments tab, all your cards appear alphabetically in a vertical grid, each one showing the rudiment name, target tempo, last practiced date, and a coloured difficulty band for at-a-glance sorting. Adding a rudiment feels immediate and familiar, as a blank index card fills the screen with fields for the name, a tempo slider spanning 40 to 220 BPM, a date picker, and a space for practice notes or stick height reminders. Once saved, each rudiment lives securely in local storage on your device, meaning your entire log stays offline, private, and accessible even in a basement practice room with no signal. You can edit or remove any card whenever your routine changes, giving you complete control over your growing collection of stick control patterns. The Practice Log tab turns your sessions into a timeline that flows along crossed drumsticks, with the most recently practiced rudiments appearing first and dates stamped like drumhead graphics. Practiced cards carry a subtle red drumstick tip smudge in the corner, a quiet visual cue that replaces cluttered checkmarks or star ratings. Navigation across the app uses four wing nuts embedded in a wooden rim, keeping every action rooted in the physical feel of a drum pad. Because the entire experience runs from local storage, there are no accounts to create, no cloud syncing to wait for, and nothing to interrupt your flow between metronome clicks. Padiddle suits marching band drumline members who need a fast practice log, drum set players chasing tempo goals, and any percussionist looking for a lightweight, focused tracker that never introduces unnecessary features.
