Ratings and reviews

Kinda clunky and not very good for managing my collection and plays. And filtering in the collection doesn't work very well. E.g. I tried to filter my games by number of players, and I wanted to play with 6. I know that I have a few games that can accommodate 6, but only one showed up, because it requires exact matches in the min or max field. Codenames doesn't show up because it's 2-8, so if you don't have a 2 in the min field or an 8 in the max field, it won't show up.

Edit: I have since gotten all of the issues fixed and love the app. I love that I can actually make changes to my collection and wishlist without having to go the website. App has a lot of potential and could be great. Though whenever I try to log a play it gives me an error and whenever I update my collection/wishlist it doesn't save any of the changes once the app is closed.

I've been using the previous Board Game Geek app for years with no major issues. I got a new phone and had to download this version today and I'm very disappointed. 2 major issues: 1 - you can no longer pull up players in the menu. So I can no longer look through the stats of the people that I've played with. The ability to track plays and player stats is what made this app worthwhile. 2 - these ads are ridiculous. They pop up entirely too often, are full screen, and some have sound.

What’s new

The forum Posts can be sorted by date (ASC and DESC).
The images are now loaded at the first time.
Ads improvements (no sound and less frequency).
